Football Recap: Stewarts Creek Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Stewarts Creek's offense. They were outmatched by the Oakland Patriots and fell 49-0. Having soared to a lofty 49 points in the game before, the Red Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Stewarts Creek now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Oakland, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Meanwhile, Oakland is set to square off against their familiar foe Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
