Basketball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 65-35 loss at the hands of the Little Miami Panthers. The Raptors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-18.

Despite the defeat, Anderson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ella Dreier went 7-for-11 en route to 15 points. That was a full 42.9% of Anderson's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Little Miami, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Coming up, Anderson will take on Loveland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Little Miami has already played their next game (against Milford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
