Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Central Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took an 80-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of Legacy. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while Legacy are ranked 17th).

St. Mary's Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Legacy, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

St. Mary's Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-48 loss against Minot on the 28th. As for Legacy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 93-64 victory against Minot North on the 28th.
