Sidney put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Gothenburg Swedes 21-6. That's more bragging rights for the Red Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The critical scores for Sidney came from Kash Knobbe, Alek Doty, and Lance Holly.

Sidney didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Holly led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Ben Monheiser also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten. Holly got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Sidney's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Gothenburg, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Sidney didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-0 win against Ogallala on the 3rd. As for Gothenburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 56-21 victory against Cozad on the 3rd.
