Volleyball Game Preview: Sycamore Aviators vs. Fairfield Indians

The Sycamore Aviators will challenge the Fairfield Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Sycamore came up short against St. Ursula Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Aviators haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-16.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fairfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on Archbishop Alter with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Fairfield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Archbishop Alter between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Sycamore, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 11-9.
