Basketball Recap: Estacado Skates Past Snyder with Ease

Estacado won the last time they faced Snyder and things went their way on Friday too. The Estacado Matadors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Snyder Tigers 78-32. The Matadors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andres Martinez, who posted four points.

Estacado is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Snyder, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Estacado will square off against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Estacado will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Snyder, they will face off against Lake View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
