Concord can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Viola Longhorns a 15-0 shutout. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Concord's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Viola, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Concord beat the Longhorns by a score of 15-0 on Wednesday.
