 In what's become a running theme this season, Mt. Zion gave their fans yet another huge  win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  6-3 margin over the Temple Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mt. Zion also won the last time the pair played  back in March of 2023.
 Mt. Zion's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 19  goals over those three  contests. As for Temple, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1.
 Mt. Zion will be playing in front of their home fans against Fugees Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Fugees Academy knows how to get  goals on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  goal totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Mt. Zion likes a good challenge. As for Temple, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Crawford County at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Crawford County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
