Baseball Game Preview: Omaha Central Eagles vs. Lutheran North Crusaders

The Omaha Central Eagles will face off against the Lutheran North Crusaders at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Omaha Central will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Omaha Central was able to grind out a solid win over Lincoln College Prep, taking the game 9-5.

Omaha Central got a great performance from Boe Di Lorenzo as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Di Lorenzo has posted since back in May of 2025.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Oscar Yuhas, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Lutheran North sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Grandview on Friday.

Lutheran North's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Omaha Central, their victory bumped their record up to 9-15.
