Baseball Game Preview: Damonte Ranch Mustangs vs. McQueen Lancers

Damonte Ranch hasn't had much luck against McQueen recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Mustangs will face off against the Lancers at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Damonte Ranch heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Tuesday. They came up short against Bishop Manogue, falling 10-3.

Damonte Ranch saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ike Bross, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, McQueen unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Galena by a score of 10-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

McQueen now has a losing record of 14-15-1. As for Damonte Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

Damonte Ranch came out on top in a nail-biter against McQueen in their previous matchup two weeks ago, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
