Volleyball Recap: Fairhaven Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fairhaven lost against Old Rochester Regional back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-15.

Carlee Bissonnette paced Fairhaven's offense, picking up three kills. Bissonnette got some help from Sophia Lomba and her five assists. Elodie Cook and Briarose Aspden kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Leading Old Rochester Regional to victory were Kaitlyn Rodrigues and Maya Morrison. Rodrigues had 13 digs and two assists, while Morrison had 12 digs and four aces. Morrison is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 7-4. As for Old Rochester Regional, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Fairhaven will challenge Durfee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Old Rochester Regional, they will face off against Dartmouth at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
