Basketball Recap: Sahuarita Takes a Loss

Sahuarita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Palo Verde Titans, falling 79-43. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2021.

Sahuarita's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Palo Verde, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Sahuarita will welcome Rio Rico at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Palo Verde, they will take on Thatcher at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
