Mapletown scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 64-29 defeat at the hands of the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs. The Maples were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bethlehem Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Amos, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals Amos has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hull, who shot 71% from the field en route to 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Mapletown's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bethlehem Center, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Mapletown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-20 defeat against West Greene on the 16th. As for Bethlehem Center, they have also already played their next game, a 46-29 loss against Jefferson-Morgan on the 16th.
