Belvidere North put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rockford East E-Rabs a 7-0 shutout. The Blue Thunder might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Belvidere North is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Rockford East, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Belvidere North and Rockford East will both be playing Jefferson the next time they take the field. The E-Rabs will head out to face the J-Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Blue Thunder will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
