Volleyball Recap: Bayard Rustin Extends Winning Streak to Four

Bayard Rustin entered their tilt with Great Valley on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1. The Golden Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Bayard Rustin was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 21-25, 25-12.

Bayard Rustin found their leader in sophomore Mady Parkinson, who had 12 digs. Addison Kupiec also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Bayard Rustin's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Great Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bayard Rustin will face off against Marple Newtown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Great Valley, they will take on Downingtown East at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
