            Volleyball Recap: Borden Braves vs. Orleans Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Corydon Central  on Wednesday, Borden came back down to earth. The Braves fell  3-1 to the Orleans Bulldogs on Thursday. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-21,  25-14.
 McKenna Mullen paced Borden's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mullen got some help from  Alivia Thomas and her 25 assists.
 Orleans was led to victory by  Hayley Hess and  Addison Russell.  Hess  had 15  digs and one  assist, while  Russell  had 15  digs, ten  kills,  and four  aces. Russell is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had seven or more in each of the last five games she's  played.
Borden dropped their record down to 17-10 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home. As for Orleans, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record  this season.
 Borden will take on New Washington at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Orleans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
