Volleyball Recap: Mogadore Comes Up Short

Mogadore was the 3-0 winner over Andrews Osborne Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Mogadore still got an impressive performance from Gracie Shull, who had 13 digs and two aces. Shull is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Iris Parker was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and one assist.

Mogadore's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Mogadore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Laurel on the 13th. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Western Reserve Academy on the 13th.
