Football Recap: OnTech Takes a Loss

The OnTech Wolves ended up a good deal behind the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks on Saturday and lost 30-12.

Tupper Lake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cohen Gerstenberger, who rushed for 76 yards, and also caught one touchdown. Gerstenberger didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended one pass. Another rusher making a difference was Liam McClain, who rushed for 116 yards and one TD.

OnTech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tupper Lake, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

OnTech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tupper Lake, they will challenge Hoosic Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lumberjacks will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
