Recap: Braden River Pirates vs. East Bay Indians
The Braden River Pirates scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on East Bay with a sharp 52-32 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Braden River has posted since November 28, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Braden River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Dalton, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds. Dalton continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamiyah Mcgrady, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Braden River's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for East Bay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Braden River will play host again and welcome Lakewood Ranch, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lakewood Ranch is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for East Bay, they will head out on the road to face off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Freedom is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
