Football Game Preview: Hinkley Thunder vs. Kennedy Commanders + How To Watch

Hinkley is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Saturday. They will host the Kennedy Commanders at 2:00 p.m. Hinkley hasn't scored more than six points for five games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Hinkley's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Kent Denver on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 60-0 to the Sun Devils, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Kennedy played a tough matchup two weeks ago in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Highlands Ranch and fell 34-6. The Commanders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

Kennedy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Xavier Benavidez and Urijah Garcia. Benavidez is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made nine or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hinkley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
