Basketball Recap: Eastern Christian Takes a Loss

Eastern Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pompton Lakes Cardinals, falling 59-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-39 on January 3rd.

Eastern Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Pompton Lakes, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

Eastern Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-28 loss against Glen Rock on the 21st. Pompton Lakes has also already played their next matchup, a 54-47 defeat against Hawthorne on the 21st.
