Basketball Recap: Watervliet Takes a Loss

Watervliet was the 71-36 winner over Coloma when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Watervliet Panthers took a 79-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coloma Comets on Friday.

Watervliet's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Coloma, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watervliet will head out to square off against Kalamazoo Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coloma, they will head out on the road to take on Lawton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
