Football Recap: Model's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heard County, Model was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Temple Tigers, sneaking past 38-36. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 43-22 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Temple's loss came despite strong showings from Serjoe Jones and Nehemiah Dorsey. Jones rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, while Dorsey rushed for 70 yards and one TD.

With the win, Model broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8. As for Temple, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Model does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Temple, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Toombs County at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
