League recap: Little Rock Christian Academy rises, Sylvan Hills falls in league standings

Little Rock Christian Academy made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from fifth to second place in 5A Central thanks to a 1-1 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile, Sylvan Hills fell hardest in the standings, dropping from first all the way to third place after going 0-0 in the past week. Pulaski Academy (2-0) is the No. 1 team in the league.

The Bruins had a successful week, as they won two total games to lead the league. Pulaski Academy beat Lonoke 7-1 and Glen Rose 6-5.

Lamarcus Oneal drove in four runners as Bauxite defeated Mills University Studies 14-8 on Thursday. He went 1-for-2 and scored two runs.
