Shadyside is 8-2 against Bridgeport since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Shadyside Tigers will face off against the Bridgeport Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Shadyside has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 13.

Shadyside will need focus on slowing down Jaleel Vincent, one of several Bridgeport players who made an impact when they last played. He went 8 of 14 en route to 23 points along with five assists and three steals. Vincent has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Coen Brinker, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Shadyside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything came up roses for Shadyside against Bridgeport in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 65-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shadyside since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
