Basketball Game Recap: Indian River vs. Great Bridge

We expected the Great Bridge Wildcats to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked the Indian River Braves on Tuesday, and they did. The Wildcats have to be aching after a bruising 84-54 defeat to Indian River. Great Bridge won against Indian River in their previous head-to-head last December, too, but their margin this time around was much wider than that 63-53 finish.

The loss dropped Great Bridge's record to 5-14. The win was the third in a row for Indian River and raised their record to 16-4.

Great Bridge will square off against Grassfield on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game. As for the Braves, they will go up against Oscar Smith on Friday.
