Basketball Game Preview: Hardin County Cougars vs. Carmi-White County Bulldogs

The Hardin County Cougars will face off against the Carmi-White County Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hardin County is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 52-22, which was the final score in Hardin County's tilt against Eldorado on Friday.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Benna Williams, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jade Carpenter, who posted six points.

Meanwhile, everything went Carmi-White County's way against Fairfield on Monday as Carmi-White County made off with a 30-7 victory. The 30-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Carmi-White County and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Hardin County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
