Maddie Reed made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Reed was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Owen J. Roberts got a big performance out of Bella Winnick, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI. Emma Brotherton was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
