Softball Recap: St. Bonaventure Takes Down Riverside Prep in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and St. Bonaventure had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Riverside Prep Silver Knights 6-5.

The team relied heavily on Azaria Aguilar, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Leea Martinez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

St. Bonaventure's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Riverside Prep, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-10.

Coming up, St. Bonaventure will square off against Muir at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Riverside Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
