 Gibson Southern stacked  a  13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over the Princeton Tigers. The  win was familiar territory for Gibson Southern who now have nine in a row.
  Carly Potts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on two hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Ally Malone was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last eight games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Payton Cummings, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On Princeton's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Raegan Etolen, who  went 1-for-2 with  an  RBI.
 Gibson Southern's victory was  their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 23-4. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10-1.
 Gibson Southern will take on Boonville at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in Gibson Southern's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last four games. As for Princeton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Forest Park at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Princeton is facing Forest Park at the right time seeing as Forest Park is stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
