Softball Game Preview: South O'Brien Wolverines vs. Gehlen Catholic Jays

The South O'Brien Wolverines will head out on the road to take on the Gehlen Catholic Jays at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South O'Brien has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South O'Brien managed to slip by Ridge View the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines lost 19-5 to the Raptors on Tuesday. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Gehlen Catholic and Unity Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Jays came up short against the Knights on Tuesday, falling 10-2. The Jays haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Gehlen Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for South O'Brien, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
