Baseball Recap: Pflugerville Comes Up Short

Pflugerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Elgin Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Tuesday.

Pflugerville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11-1. As for Elgin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9-1.

Looking ahead, Pflugerville will challenge Leander at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elgin, they will take on Pflugerville Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
