Volleyball Recap: Carson Petty and Montana Swartz Secure Win for Penn

Penn won the last time they faced New Prairie and things went their way on Saturday too. The Kingsmen walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars.

Leading Penn to victory were Montana Swartz and Carson Petty. Swartz had eight assists and three aces, while Petty had 11 assists. That's the most aces Swartz has posted over her last nine games. Josie Garber also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Penn has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for New Prairie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
