Softball Recap: Eastern Wayne Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Eastern Wayne was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell 4-1 to the Washington Pam Pack.

Mallory Reed spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on zero hits and racked up 20 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

Eastern Wayne now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 2-11.
