The Olmsted Falls Bulldogs will face off against the Wadsworth Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Olmsted Falls is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell just short of Avon Lake by a score of 18-16 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Shoremen: they've now lost three in a row.

MOLLY SHEEHAN put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, TAYLOR VAVRO and BROOKE LARGENT stepped up to the plate in a big way. VAVRO fired off two home runs and seven RBI while going 3-for-4, while LARGENT got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and one triple. Those home runs were VAVRO's first of the season. Another player making a difference was HAILEY KLAMUT, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Wadsworth ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Dalton 3-2. That's two games straight that the Grizzlies have won by just one run.
Lorene Bennett 2025 spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits.
At the plate, Lauren Ball 2025 was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples and one run. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Maddy Hostettler 2025 was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Wadsworth has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Olmsted Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
Wadsworth's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Olmsted Falls has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.4 strikeouts per game.
