Cape Coral got themselves on the board against Lehigh on Thursday, but Lehigh never followed suit. They blew past the Lehigh Lightning 10-0. The Seahawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lightning, too.

Derek Hooker was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tyler Anson, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

The win made it two in a row for Cape Coral and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 15 runs. As for Lehigh, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Cape Coral will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Lehigh, they will challenge Cypress Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
