North Grand gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Lake View Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Eagle Owls were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Wildcats, so the Eagle Owls were just returning the favor.

Lake View dropped their record down to 1-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, North Grand will venture away from home to take on Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake View, they will welcome Juarez at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
