Imperial is 8-2 against Calipatria since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Imperial Tigers will head out to challenge the Calipatria Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Imperial is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Calexico just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Bulldogs 43-39.

Meanwhile, Calipatria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 65-54 to Central.

Imperial's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Calipatria, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Imperial beat Calipatria 58-48 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Imperial since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
