Soccer Recap: Springville Runs Away After Halftime

Springville had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Spanish Fork on Tuesday. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Dons. The match was close at halftime, but Springville turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

Springville has now won eight of their last nine games at home. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. The home wins were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those nine contests. As for Spanish Fork, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

As of now, neither Springville nor Spanish Fork have any future games scheduled.
