Soccer Game Preview: Queen Creek vs. Pinnacle

The Queen Creek Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Pinnacle Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Queen Creek's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Queen Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Dobson 2-1.

Alexa Johnson was the driving force of Queen Creek's attack as she scored both of Queen Creek's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle faced Boulder Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Pinnacle fell just short of Boulder Creek by a score of 2-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Pioneers couldn't quite close it out.

Pinnacle's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 14-9. As for Queen Creek, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Queen Creek suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Pinnacle when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Queen Creek avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
