Volleyball Recap: St. Michael Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Michael Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pelham Panthers.

St. Michael Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pelham, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, St. Michael Catholic will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Saraland at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pelham, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Lamar on the 23rd.
