Basketball Recap: American Leadership Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

American Leadership Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Columbia Capitals with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-48.

Justin Richburg continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 15 points and eight steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Redding, who made all 5 shots he took for 10 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

The win got American Leadership Academy back to even at 3-3. As for Columbia, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

American Leadership Academy has already played their next game, a 52-49 victory against Eau Claire on the 3rd. Columbia has also already played their next contest (against Airport), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
