The Torres Toros fell just short of the Justin Garza Guardians by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. One thing that didn't help the Toros' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Ray Saldana.

Torres' goal came courtesy of Saldana, who's now up to six this season.

Torres now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Justin Garza, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-12.

Torres has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Madera South on the 11th. As for Justin Garza, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Bullard on the 11th.
