Softball Recap: Fresno Christian's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fresno Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Parlier Panthers with a sharp 10-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-5 last Wednesday.

Madison Bishel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Fresno Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Parlier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
