Recap: Hermann Bearcats vs. Lebanon Yellowjackets

The Hermann Bearcats waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 55-48 victory over Lebanon.

Despite the loss, Lebanon still got an impressive performance from Caleb Ray, who scored 19 points along with four steals. Ray continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Kory Hough was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Lebanon struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Hermann is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Lebanon, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

Hermann's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Sullivan at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Lebanon on the road again on Saturday and play against St. James at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th. St. James will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 387th, while Lebanon is ranked 108th).
