For the second straight game, Walden Grove will face off against Ironwood Ridge. The Red Wolves will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Nighthawks at 4:00 p.m. Walden Grove is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Walden Grove is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since March 11th on Monday. They fell just short of Ironwood Ridge by a score of 9-7.

Fabian Martinez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Angel Armenta was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.

The win was the eighth in a row for Ironwood Ridge, bringing their record up to 19-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Walden Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
