Softball Recap: Port Allegany Gators vs. Coudersport Falcons

Port Allegany hadn't done well against Coudersport recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Gators walked away with a 7-3 win over the Falcons. Those seven runs were actually the fewest the Gators have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Bria Wilcox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up 16 Ks. Those 16 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
