Basketball Recap: Crivitz Takes a Loss

If Crivitz was feeling good fresh off their 67-32 takedown of Oneida Nation last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crivitz Wolverines took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Niagara Badgers. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Badgers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Crivitz's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Niagara, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Crivitz has already played their next contest (against Wausaukee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Niagara will face off against Oneida Nation at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Niagara's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
