Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne South Side Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on Monday, Fort Wayne South Side came back down to earth. The Archers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homestead Spartans on Thursday. The Archers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 17-25, 25-10, 25-14.

Fort Wayne South Side's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Homestead, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fort Wayne South Side will face off against rival Fort Wayne Northrop at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Homestead is set to challenge their familiar foe Jeffersonville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
