It was a good run, but Roosevelt unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Chester Hambletonians by a score of 3-1. The Presidents were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hambletonians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Chester, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Roosevelt will challenge Spackenkill at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Presidents' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Chester, they will take on Pine Bush at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
